CCA Information:

Softball is a team sport where each player plays an essential role in contributing to the team’s overall success. It offers valuable opportunities for athletes to develop key life skills and values, including self-discipline, leadership, resilience, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

At Frontier, all Softball CCA members will attend regular practices. Given the diverse range of abilities required in the sport, training will be tailored to suit the developmental stage of each member. To prepare them for the annual National School Games (NSG), students will engage in game-based scenarios and friendly matches as part of the training programme.

Students will

• Acquire fundamental skills of throwing, catching, fielding, pitching, batting and base-running

• Develop basic playing strategies and tactics of Softball

• Cultivate good sportsmanship values of discipline, resilience, cooperation and fair play.

School Team: Mondays, 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. @ School Field

Developmental Team: Fridays, 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. @ School Field

Additional practices:
Information about additional sessions will be communicated via letter to students.

Attire:

Students will be training in their Softball CCA attire which consists of the jersey, long pants and cap. (Students may choose to wear their own sports shoes)
