Design and Innovation

CCA Information:

Design and Innovation in Frontier allows our Frontierers to grow and stretch their minds through trial and error experiences. Authentic experiences were planned to imbue the Growth Mindset in our students. Through these experiences, students get to exercise creative thinking and build character and relationships through positive interactions with their peers.

Design and Innovation CCA comprises of:

  • Block-based programming and Maker activities (P3)

  • Tiered approach for Robotics (P4 & P5)

  • Drones (P6)

By the end of Primary 6, students would have mastered:

  • Maker mindset to problem solve

  • Skills in Robotics Construction and Programming using eV3

  • Skills in programming Tello-Drones

CCA Objectives:

Design and Innovation CCA aims to develop students:

  • to think independently and critically, and explain their reasoning and decision

  • Being reflective to question, modify and improve thoughts

  • to interact and work effectively in group settings, and strives for excellence

Schedule:

Fridays, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Digital Den Red, Blue, Purple & iMaker Lab

Attire:

Pupils are to be in their school uniform unless otherwise stated.
