CCA Information: |
The Chinese Dance CCA, established in 2013, offers students an engaging platform to explore dance in a fun and tactile way. It aims to foster creativity, cultivate an appreciation for aesthetics, and deepen students' understanding of the cultural significance of traditional dances. Through training, students develop enhanced motor skills, showmanship, and teamwork, while also gaining opportunities to perform and compete. A key highlight of the CCA is its participation in the biennial Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation (SYF AP), where students showcase their talents and receive recognition for their efforts. The dance troupe has proudly represented the school in the SYF AP in 2014, 2016, 2018, 2022, and 2024, achieving the prestigious "Distinction" award each time, both before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to SYF AP, the troupe has performed in various community events and international platforms. |
