4th Text Recital Competition |
||
This competition is jointly organised by the Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning, Anderson Primary School and Chinese Teachers Literary Recital Society. The main objective of this competition is to raise the student’s level of Chinese Language reading proficiency, to ignite our pupils’ love for learning Chinese language and deepen their understanding of the texts in their textbooks through text recitals. More than 800 students from about 115 schools took part in the 4th Text Recital Competition for primary and secondary schools this year. | ||

SASMO aims to arouse students’ interest in mathematical problem solving to develop mathematical intuition, reasoning, logical, creative and critical thinking. Asia Pacific Mathematical Olympiad for Primary Schools (APMOPS) |
||
Some of our Primary 5 and Primary 6 students took part in the Asia Pacific Mathematical Olympiad for Primary Schools (APMOPS), organised by Hwa Chong Institution, in April. The aims of APMOPS 2021 First Round (SMOPS) are to generate greater interest in Mathematics among students in primary schools and to sharpen the students’ problem solving skills. Draw My Stamp Story Art Competition |
||
Draw My Stamp Story Art Competition 2021 is organized by Singapore Philatelic Museum. The objective is for students to appreciate the designs on Singapore postage stamps and create a drawing to tell the story behind the stamp. More than 800 primary and secondary school students nationwide submitted entries in the annual competition. |

The campaign was developed in conjunction with the special NHB exhibition, ”Home, Truly: Growing Up with Singapore, 1950s to the Present”. Objective of the campaign is to: Artwork is displayed at the National Heritage Gallery during the March Holidays. |

The objective of the competition is to: Show concern to lives affected by the outbreak.Asian Art Association teamed up with famous painters from around the world to be the judges. The best works will be donated to a hospital or auctioned to a coronavirus patient. The proceeds will be used to set up a public welfare fund for those affected by the coronavirus. |

P5 pupils interested in the programme have to prepare a 5-piece portfolio. Based on the portfolios submitted, selected pupils will be invited to take part in a Creative Writing Camp where participants get the chance to speak with published authors and have these authors look at their writing and provide them with feedback. |

A science competition organized by Temasek JC, where participants from primary schools get to experience the collaborative problem-based inquiry learning approach called the THINK© Cycle and last year, they posed a mystery box challenge for the participants to solve and present their findings. |
